Practical Software & Systems Measurement
A DOD (Department of Defense) and U.S. Army Course - Administered by the PSMSC (Practical Software and Systems Measurement Support Center). Quality Plus Technologies is a licensed transition partner authorized to teach PSM.
Course Description:
This one-day course describes the PSM issue-driven measurement process and includes practical “hands-on” tailoring and application exercises. This course teaches students the basic skills needed to select and apply software measures at the program level.
An advanced course is also available that teaches students HOW to implement software measurement on an actual program that is being developed.
The PSM measurement approach addresses the four activities of tailoring, applying, implementing, and evaluating. The course will overview the processes for selecting and using measurement on a project, and for implementing measurement in an organization.
